Miriam Moore
Miriam Moore is the acting Chief Counsel at the Department of Health and Aged Care where she leads a large and varied legal practice. Prior to joining Health in late 2017 as General Counsel for Corporate Commercial and Litigation, Miriam led the Litigation Branch of the then Department of Immigration and Border Protection (now Home Affairs) where she managed a large and significant Commonwealth litigation practice. Miriam moved from a private law firm to join the Australian Public Service in 1998 and has held various senior legal and non-legal positions within the APS with a focus on advising on administrative law, litigation and dispute resolution.
