Katie Miller

Katie Miller is the General Counsel of AUSTRAC and has strategic responsibility for AUSTRAC's enforcement and rulemaking functions, as well as the in-house legal function. Katie is a strong advocate and supporter of the legal profession and communities of practice. She was the first government lawyer to be appointed President of the Law Institute of Victoria and has practised in both the Australian Government Solicitor and the Victorian Government Solicitor's Office. Katie supports the development of lawyers through a combination of mentoring, reflective practice and exposure to lawyers from diverse personal and professional backgrounds.
