Eliza Amparo

Eliza Amparo is an Acting Deputy Director at the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions and has national responsibility for the delivery of prosecution services in the Human Exploitation and Border Protection practice group, which covers offences including online child exploitation, human trafficking, cybercrime, drug and tobacco importation and money laundering. As Deputy Director, she also has responsibility for national liaison, policy development and contribution to law reform within the practice group. Eliza has extensive prosecution experience across a broad range of other Commonwealth crime types such as fraud, organised crime and national security including counter terrorism and foreign interference.
